Maryport is a small town on the West Cumbrian coast of the Solway Firth. It has a large Lidl, other smaller supermarkets, good gym chemists, pubs and takeaways, an aquarium, fishing harbour, marina, golf course and a long promenade .
The house is a 5 minute walk from the train station and there is a good bus service. A half hour drive takes you into the centre of the Lake District for hiking and sightseeing
Parking in bays adjacent to the house or free car park at the station
