Hi I'm Mette. I'm a Dutch PhD student in sociology, on an exchange to UCL from September 2026, looking for another student doing a post grad to share with.
I will be moving with my partner to this light, airy 2-double bed furnished flat in Manor House that overlooks the reservoir and is truly stunning. The flat has a balcony, shared lounge/kitchen, one ensuite shower and an additional bathroom with a shower.
We are looking to share with another postgrad student (Masters or PhD) who is studying from September 2026 to share the flat with us. We would like someone who is friendly, relaxed, communicative, and enjoys conversation.
We have lived across Europe. I enjoy museum visits, playing football, hikes, pottery, and watching documentaries. Laurie (my partner) enjoys travelling, learning languages, watching films, and seeing live music. We are quiet and respectful of others' space.
The flat is accessible from anywhere in London as it's a 5 minute bus ride/15 minute walk to Finsbury Park tube (zone 2) or a 7 minute walk to Manor House tube (zone 3).
The flat is let on a student tenancy under the new Renters Rights Act 2026.
We know the owner and she is not part of an agency and is passionate about letting homes that are of high quality. She lives locally so can quickly respond to urgent issues that arise. She always aims to ensure the flat is rented to people who create a positive environment which is anti discriminatory and inclusive.
