A friendly and ‘with it’ older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would value the friendly reassurance of having someone living their home in case of an emergency, as well as some practical help with small jobs around the house such as loading/unloading the dishwasher, hanging up washing, carrying heavier items, watering the gardening, picking up shopping or prescriptions, cooking the occasional meal and ad hoc other practical help or errands as may be useful.

The accommodation on offer is a beautifully-presented double bedroom with ample storage in a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a bathroom with bath and separate shower that is mainly for the Sharer’s use, but will also be used when the Householder’s family come to stay from time-to-time. The Sharer may also share the kitchen, sitting room and garden. It is a very clean and tidy home.

The property is in an excellent location just 15 minutes’ walk from Fulham Broadway and West Brompton Underground Stations.

The person enjoys playing bridge as well as jigsaw puzzles, watching crime dramas and listening to political podcasts. They are very independent and have a wide circle of family and friends.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests but who is also fairly independent with their own work/studies. This would not be suitable for someone who works from home.
