Hi! I'm Theo - A Londoner of 5+ years looking to find a flatmate to fill a vacant room in my lovely flat in Archway/Highgate :)

I recently moved into this two-bedroom flat in Northwood Hall, an amazing historical art deco building halfway between Archway and Highgate. Truly the nicest flat I've had in five years of living in London.
Read on for more details, but TL; DR the spare bedroom is small but the rest of the flat is perfection :)

The flat/your room:
- Available immediately. Ideally would like to find someone for the long term, but open to short-term lets (try out the place for a month and stay for longer if you're happy here!)
- Small room with a double bed (see floorplan)
- Furnished flat. The room has a double bed and wardrobe
- £1000/month, including gas/heating/hot water (saves roughly £100/month)
- Council tax band C
- Perfect location IMO, no compromises. Equidistant to Archway, Highgate, Crouch End. 10 min walk to either Archway or Highgate tube. Lovely green area with lots of pubs and cafes. 5 min walk to Waterlow Park, 15 min to Hampstead Heath.
- Gorgeous views out of all the rooms. Genuinely rivals Sky Garden

London luxuries unique to this flat:
- No mould 😱
- Shockingly warm in winter (concrete walls ++)
- Quiet, soundproofed walls (you'll genuinely never hear a thing)
- Dishwasher 😲
- A separate living room 🤯
- Kitchen of usable size with modern appliances
- Balcony with an absurdly nice view of Highgate all the way to Ally Pally
- A really lovely landlord who goes beyond what is necessary to keep the flat in top shape. No rubbish agency to deal with 🔥
- Separate bicycle storage
- Concierge ⁉️
- Parking space
- Private garden
- Nice neighbours and a sense of community

Who you'd be living with (me):
- 23, male, working professional, mechanical engineer
- From London originally but moved around the world a lot
- Things I love: cooking, baking, tennis, cycling, piano, tv/film/theatre/literature/all things arts and culture, pubs, cats, spending entire days walking around London to get 30k steps.
- Very tidy, but not insufferably so. Cook in bulk a few times a week. Will bake cakes to share with you. Sociable and love to have a good relationship with my flatmate, but I am slightly introverted and enjoy having time to myself too.

Who I'd like to share with (you):
- Around my age (21-28 ish)
- Ideally working rather than a student (just for council tax purposes)
- Not fussed on gender
- Ideally you feel you have things in common with me and would be happy to coexist in the shared spaces and go out together on occasion!
- Ideally you have a cat as I'd like to live with one lol

If this at all interests you, please drop me a message. Happy to meet up for a coffee or a pint to get to know you and make sure we're a match, or to tell you more about the flat.
