It's a 1 minute 20 second walk to the bus stop, which has several different buses stopping there and runs to places such as the Chelmsford train station (5 minute ride) approximately every 6-10 minutes, the town centre, and Broomfield Hospital. This bus stop that is a 1 minute walk away also takes you directly to Stansted Airport for £3 single, arriving every 30 minutes. Despite its fantastic location, the house is in a quiet cul-de-sac (a street that is closed to cars at one end).
Alternatively it's a 7-9 minute walk to Chelmsford city centre/High Street where you can visit plenty of shops. The nearest supermarket (large Aldi) is just across the road. A large B&M is also next door to Aldi. There are light-controlled pedestrian lights.
