About me: I work as a newspaper journalist and TV broadcaster. I am a gay man. The home is a calm sanctuary and escape from London noise.

I have no issues with friends being over for socialising. The walls are thick and so, helpfully, with the living room door closed, you can socialise without disturbing anyone.
