Comfortable furnished large double room, with plenty of storage space and off-road parking, in good sized semi-detached house on the outskirts of Cheltenham. Easy access to both centre of town and the M5. Surrounded by farmland, in a small village community, serviced by the Tewkesbury to Cheltenham 41 and 42 bus service. Tax band C.
You will be sharing the house with myself, the landlady, and Gabby my Sound Support Dog (a miniature poodle) who is both friendly, well trained and doesn’t moult. There are two large shared lounges and two shared bathrooms; a large shared kitchen and plenty of parking spaces. Working from home is an option with a small desk in your room, or ‘hot desking’ in the shared lounges. Internet is strong and fast. Beautiful sunsets can be observed from the patio.
As a professional counsellor, I occasionally see private clients at home during the week, so I would need a lodger able to be discrete and quiet when needed. I also host a fortnightly Bible study group on Wednesday evenings.
Please note that during the major holidays I sometimes have elderly relatives to stay.
(I’m warm and friendly and have a relaxed home. Once rental income is coming in, I have a cleaner lined up to come in fortnightly. )
I’m willing to negotiate on price. It’s more important to me to find a person I get on with.
