South Acton Overground (19 min to Hampstead Heath) is also an 8 min walk away. Richmond and Hammersmith are neighbouring areas, and Kew Gardens is 1.5 miles away.

The flat is a massive 1,200 sq ft (111 sq m) 3 bed Victorian flat in a 125-year-old classic London mansion block with a very large sitting room, a small communal garden at the front, a small balcony, a big kitchen, a large bathroom, high ceilings, and a separate second toilet.

It has an abundance of natural light.

The kitchen houses a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer.

The block has just this week had brand new carpets fitted into the landings and staircases.

There are two excellent pubs within a three minute walk, and Sainsbury's, Waitrose and M&S are all super nearby.

Two men aged 28 live here - a lawyer and a civil servant. We both get on well, and we're polite, social, clean, tidy, quiet and friendly.

Personally, I enjoy art galleries, travelling, socialising, cinema, wine, pubs and eating out.

The sitting room is a large 250 sq ft communal space with a TV and a dining table.

We don't party, but we sometimes have friends over for dinner and drinks.

Chiswick is an absolutely fantastic area, with a tree-lined High Road, the riverside, Chiswick House and Gardens, gorgeous architecture, and an abundance of lovely restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops.

Council Tax is included in the rent, so additional bills are only about £50-75 extra per month.

The room will definitely be available from 3 September and may be available as early as 23 August.

No couples, please (sorry) - though overnight guests are absolutely fine in moderation (roughly four or five nights per month).

You need not be gay/bi, but you must be gay/bi-friendly as one of the two residents is gay.
