The tenancy operates on a monthly rolling basis, with a 2-month notice period under the agreement, but a stay of at least 6 months (or ideally 1 year) is preferred.

The flat is within the triangle of Regent's Canal, Old Street Roundabout and Shoreditch Church, with restaurants, cafés and bars all within a maximum of around 5 minutes' walking distance.
Old Street Station (Northern Line) is approximately 5 minutes' walk away.

Very close to one of London's nicest running routes: Regent's Canal, continuing towards London Fields and Victoria Park.
Also within walking distance of East London's weekend attractions, including Columbia Road Flower Market, Broadway Market and Brick Lane.

There isn't convenient indoor storage for bringing a personal bicycle in and out on a daily basis.

King's Cross – 45 mins (a nice walk, much of it along the canal)
Most of these times are close to half by bicycle.

No smoking inside the flat. Smoking on the patio is subject to landlord approval.

Unfortunately no pets, as the flat is fully carpeted.

HOUSEMATE / FLATSHARE

You'll be sharing with a film-industry professional (ex-finance) who is tidy, clean and fairly independent.
I'm looking for a genuinely friendly flatshare rather than simply two people living separate lives under the same roof. It would be nice to occasionally watch something together, have dinner or a drink, or go out somewhere when it happens naturally.

Equally, we both have our own lives and there's absolutely no expectation to socialise all the time. Having our own space and privacy is just as important.

The idea is simply to have a relaxed, welcoming home where we enjoy each other's company from time to time, rather than just sharing a kitchen.
