The Property

The property now occupies what was once the old coach house of an imposing 1845 family home. It is a two-bedroom flat, with one other permanent resident.

The property has access to an oasis of a garden, that has to be seen to be believed this close to the city centre. The garden is partially shared with the other flats in the building, although the patio and barbeque areas are private to this property. All of the neighbours are very friendly and considerate. The Area

The area is one of London's absolute gems - sitting at the connecting point of Islington, Highbury, Holloway and Canonbury. The flat is a 5 minute walk from Highbury Fields, a quiet neighbourhood park that also houses a cafe, tennis courts, gym and swimming pool. The much larger Clissold Park (it has, among other things, coffee shops, splash parks, a petting zoo and some very pretty large ponds) is also a 20 minute walk away, on the bustling brunch-hub of Stoke Newington Church Street. 2 minutes further and you're exploring the stunning urban Woodbury Wetlands nature reserve.

Highbury Grove is easy walking distance to countless coffee shops, pubs, bars, cinemas, comedy clubs, theatres, music venues, parks, recreation centres, sports grounds etc. to suit all tastes, and some of London's finest cuisine is right on the doorstep. Trullo and Prawn on the Lawn are literally a 2 minute walk, while Upper Street and its offshoots are full of restaurants often found on recommendation lists of the city's top foodie spots.
