We're looking for two new housemates to replace two of us who are moving out of our much-loved home at 10 Gascoigne Place.

This is genuinely a lovely house and feels much more like a home than a typical house share. The standout feature is the huge garden, a real rarity in East London. We grow vegetables, spend time out there in the summer, and occasionally get visits from the neighbour's sausage dog, who has a habit of sneaking through for a wander.

The house is just off Columbia Road Flower Market, with all the cafés, pubs and local spots that come with it, while still being tucked away on a quiet residential street with lovely neighbours.

The existing housemates are Angus and Kathleen. Angus works for a cooking charity and Kathleen is an architect (early 30s) We're a friendly household and enjoy the occasional TV night, trip to the pub, or shared meal, but everyone has their own lives too. With two of us leaving at the same time, there's plenty of room for new people to shape the vibe of the house.

Both available rooms are doubles and are at the back of the house overlooking the garden. They get morning light, are quiet, and feel nicely removed from the street. They're on the smaller side, but for £786.50 a month they're great value considering the location, the house itself, and especially the garden.

Move-in would ideally be from 18th July, although there's flexibility for any time in July

We're looking for normal, nice, clean people (lol), who are happy living in a friendly and respectful home. People who enjoy a nice atmosphere and contribute to keeping the place pleasant to live in.

Bills come to roughly £100 per person per month.

We're hoping to do viewings next Friday, although sooner is even better if possible.
