Looking for more than just a random face in the hallway? I’m looking for a flatmate to share a bright, modernised, and genuinely homely 2-bedroom apartment in a prime zone 1 location. My current flatmate is finishing her studies and moving out in September, I am a Finance Master’s student at Hult and will be here until at least March/April 2027.

This apartment has been a true safe space and sanctuary for the past year, and I want to keep it that way. There is nothing worse than dreading coming home because the vibe is off.

I’m highly social but value quality over quantity, think deep kitchen conversations, spontaneous chats, sharing music, or just being silly after a long day, rather than hosting constant parties. We don’t need to be inseparable, and I deeply respect alone time, but I want a home where we could cook together occasionally, communicate openly about household logistics, and genuinely enjoy sharing the space.

The flat is on the 4th floor (no lift) of an older building, but the interior was renovated a few years ago and feels much cleaner and more modern than typical London stock. The neighbours are quiet, helpful, and the building feels incredibly safe. The landlord lives nearby and is highly responsive.

Your Room: Furnished with a 120cm bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a small study desk with a chair.
Shared Spaces: Modern kitchen and shared bathroom. Equipped with a washer/dryer, oven, and large fridge/freezer. (Bonus: I have a Thermomix you’re welcome to use if treated with care).
The Details: Smaller communal items (cutlery, coffee machine, bedding basics) were co-purchased with my previous flatmate and can be taken over for a small, reasonable handover fee.
Note on winter: The windows are older, so energy bills do fluctuate in the colder months, but we worked out efficient workarounds last winter and are well-prepared for this year.

Rent: Currently £1,500/month per person (anticipating a potential 1–5% standard increase pending final landlord confirmation).
Bills: Approx. £100/month per person (Wi-Fi, water, electricity).
Contract: The agency manages the flat on a flexible rolling contract with a 2-month notice period.
Timeline: I am looking for someone to commit until at least March/April 2027 to avoid mid-semester flatmate hunting. After April, you have the flexibility to stay on longer or hand in your notice, regardless of whether I enter full-time work here or relocate.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, balanced, and communicative home base in central London, drop me a message with a bit about yourself, your routine, and what you’re looking for in a house share.
