Super sad to be leaving my double room in Brixton, and what makes it worse, I’m leaving my 3 Aussie boys behind! Looking for someone to fill my place and be a part of this lovely household right by Brixton station!

I need someone to take over the room on the 1st of June. For the referencing to pass, the person must earn at least £26,000 annually (2.5X the annual rent), be in a permanent position and have had passed their probationary period.

The flat is in a great location for connections and many food places, pubs and bars, with Clapham Common only being a 20min walk away, lots of bus connections and central London only 10min tube journey on the Victoria line.

The room comes furnished with a small double bed, chest of drawers, a bedside table and a wardrobe, also has space under the bed to put more stuff away if needed. It has a very big bright window facing south, which is a bonus.

There are 4 bedrooms in the two floor flat, a massive living room, a big kitchen/ dining area, as well as a big storage cupboard under the stairs where we all keep our suitcases or whatever else we don’t use day to day. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle etc, and we all share appliances and plates, pots and pans etc. There are two bathrooms that are shared between 3 of us- one is a shower/ toilet and one is just a toilet with a sink. One room is an en-suite, that person has their own bathroom.

We love cooking together, watching TV and popping out for drinks on the weekends. As a flat we are quite clean and tidy, cleaning as we go after ourselves, and all chipping in to do our bit to keep the space homely. Looking for someone likeminded to join the flat!

The flatmates:
Harry- 28, Aussie, lawyer, loves rustling up delicious master chef level meals and will also tell you many iconic travel stories.
Joe- 27, Aussie, works in Architecture, loves playing five-a-side, he’s also always up for binge watching TV and might share some of his halloumi burgers if you’re nice.
Keegan- 29, Aussie, teacher, loves rugby, football, browsing vintage shops and always has some interesting facts and stories to share, and usually is not too hard to convince to come to the pub or even commit to a proper night out.

The move in date is June 1st, rent is £854, paid on the 13th of each month, deposit is 5 weeks rent (will confirm). Contract is until 15th of February 2025, however if you would need to move out before, you can do that any time, as long as you find someone to replace you (just have to pay a fee to change the names on the contract).

Bills usually are around £100 per person a month. The flat is on the 3/4th floor facing south, with lots of big windows, so it is very light and warm.

If you’re interested, please tell us a bit about yourself, your occupation, and what you’re looking for and we can go from there! We are looking to set up viewings asap this week!

Thanks x
