Hi! I’m moving out of this flat after two years (only because I’m moving in with my partner), and I’m genuinely sad to be leaving — it’s been a great place to live.

The room is a spacious double with its own en-suite, and what I’ve always loved is how private it feels. It’s set slightly away from the main living space and accessed via a small hallway, so it doesn’t feel like a typical flatshare setup.

It comes fully furnished with a double bed (with a really comfortable memory foam topper), double wardrobe and chest of drawers, and there’s still space for a desk if you’re working from home. It’s also very quiet and gets good natural light.

The shared space is a big, bright living room with a bay window, plus an open kitchen and dining area. There’s loads of storage, and the whole flat just feels easy to live in.

Out the back, there’s a private patio garden which is a bit of a hidden gem — it gets loads of sun and is great in the warmer months.

Location-wise, it’s really well connected — about a 7-minute walk to Oval, with Santander, Lime bikes and multiple 24/7 busses right at the end of the street. There’s also an incredible Italian Deli seconds from the front door! 5 minutes to PureGym or Gymgroup and there’s a really good Pilates and yoga studio 2 mins away.

You’d be living with one other professional in his early 30s who’s easy-going and respectful of the space. He used to be a doctor but swapped his A&E scrubs for a suit doing consultancy. It’s a calm, clean and relaxed home rather than a party flat, so it would suit someone similar.

The landlords are also great — responsive, fair, and they actually look after the place (including maintaining the garden), which makes a big difference.

Bills usually come to around £180/month.

Move-in is from 13th April but I do have flexibility. Aiming to do viewings in the week after 5 but can probably work from home a few days to do daytime if needed.
