Hello! We're looking for a housemate to join our cozy flatshare in the heart of Hackney.

THE ROOM:
The room is small but clean and cozy, with new hardwood floors and space for a double bed, small chest of drawers, and nightstand. Keep in mind it's a fisheye photo so looks smaller in person - there isn't room for a desk for example. It has a window overlooking a private courtyard, so is very quiet. It will come unfurnished, but our departing housemate is selling her bed for £50 if you're interested.

The room is £820 a month, with monthly bills coming to an additional £175. This includes housekeepers who come every two weeks!

Furry friends are welcome. :)

THE FLATMATES: You’d be living with Mysan (F, 33) and Alex (F, 36). Mysan is a pastry chef from Sweden and Alex is an architect from New Zealand. There is a 4th bedroom currently occupied by me (Leslie), which will become a part-time guest room / office later this year as I will be moving to France and keeping my room for occasional visits. I'm a 36-year old American who works for a travel startup. We love the occasional trip to the pub or to see a gig, and catching up after work with some ambient trash TV in the background.

THE FLAT:
The flat is fantastic: the highlight is the gorgeous living room / kitchen with extra-high ceilings and original Victorian features throughout, filled with art, books, more houseplants than you can count, two couches, and a TV with a vast DVD collection. It opens onto a small private terrace where we occasionally host dinner parties and attempt to keep our many plants alive. The flat has a dishwasher and washing machine. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
We love the neighbourhood. We’re a 5 minute walk to Hackney Downs, and have two overground stops within 10 minutes (Hackney Central and Hackney Downs). Lower Clapton is full of nice cafes, cozy pubs and wine bars, and we live dangerously close to Yard Sale Pizza, and London Fields is a 15 minute walk away!
