I’ve recently moved in and am gradually making the place feel more like home. It’s a converted commercial and residential space, with a large open-plan living and kitchen area and more room than you’d usually find in a flat share.

The flat has five bedrooms, but I’m looking for just two housemates, so there’ll be three of us living here. One room is available now. There’s currently one shared bathroom. In time, I’m hoping to renovate a second bathroom, and there’s also space for a spare room where friends or family can stay.

The location is great if you enjoy being outdoors. The Lea Valley Walk and Hackney Marshes are nearby, with Wanstead Park, the Wetlands and Lee Valley Regional Park within easy reach.

Clapton Overground is about a 12-minute walk away, with trains direct to Liverpool Street. From there, Tottenham Court Road is about six minutes by train, so the West End is roughly 40 minutes away door to door, depending on connections. There are also several bus routes nearby, with good links around Hackney and the rest of East London.

I’m looking for friendly, considerate housemates who are happy to help keep shared spaces tidy and who appreciate a home with a bit of character.
