I’m offering a furnished double room in a 3-bed maisonette in Homerton E5 as a short let.
The wooden-floored room is 3.5m x 3.1 m and includes a king-size bed, a large clothes cabinet, desk and shelves, the room is double glazed and overlooking the rear of the property.
The downstairs kitchen is fitted with Siemens appliances -dishwasher, washing machine, oven and induction hobs, and has a quartz worktop. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and also has inbuilt pantry storage, it’s perfect for someone who enjoys cooking.

Next to that there is a modern bathroom with a bath/shower, sink and toilet. Finally there is a large shared 4 x 5m living room.


There is lots of original art on the walls as both flatmates are artists.

I still have a room at the flat but I am away from London most of the year working as a musician and I live abroad, I only return a few times throughout the year for a few weeks at a time, so most of the time it will be just you and my other lodger in the flat.
My lodger Nigel will be living here with you, he is a very quiet older man, who writes and draws in the daytimes in the downstairs bedroom and he is out most evenings. He has lived here for 15 yrs.

It’s a quiet flat and street, and as the 2 bedrooms are on separate floors there is plenty of privacy, also the lounge is comfortable and bright. Ideally, I’m looking for a quiet, professional person or grad student. This flat is not a busy group house but you would have privacy.
It’s 3 minutes from Chatsworth Road with all its great shops and restaurants, including the Castle Cinema and Chats Palace. There is a lively street food market here on Sunday morning. Homerton Station is just a 12-minute walk away.
Bills are included and we have fast fiber broadband. A cleaner comes regularly which is an additional cost of about £45 per visit shared between flatmates, but they can be arranged to visit as needed.

It’s not a group house with a lot of flatmates hanging out together, but it’s been my home for 20 years and would suit someone who wants privacy and a well-equipped home.
