New household in Homerton looking to fill a room with own balcony overlooking the garden.

US:
There are four of us (one couple, so five when room is filled),
Current tenants are two music types, an artist and a community organiser. Some of us have known each other for years, some have only met whilst moving into this place recently. We have different schedules from each other, and often week to week - so all live our day-to-days pretty independently but are also keen to find time to spend together when we can. There's usually someone home, rarely is it everyone.

We have 2 cats who are getting to know each other too, so unfortunately won't be able to take on any other pets for the time being (unless they are small room pets).

HOUSE:
As we've recently taken on the lease, it's still a bit of a work in process. Though by now the work is mainly about making it look nice and cosy as opposed to some of the tougher jobs we already took care of.

Two bathrooms, each with own shower and one with bath.

Kitchen is kitted out with 5 hob gas rings and an new electric oven. We've got 2 fridge freezers, a washing machine, dishwasher and tumble-dryer in the kitchen. Space for dining table and chairs and a very decent spread of storage space.

The kitchen opens out into a very decent sized garden which currently has a dry store, a bbq place (that we've also been using to have small fires), and some inherited furniture that we are also hoping to upgrade before winter is over. Loads of potential though! It's also where the smokers of the house go to smoke.

More space we've yet to utilise properly but are definitely planning to. There is a large basement (standing space) currently being used for storage, though working out if suitable for art/music space use. Also open to suggestions! There's a loft space without the easiest access, so still to be properly explored.

THE ROOM: Double room that is unfurnished, though we have some clothes rails and a large chest of drawers that can be used if you need.
It's at the back of the house (so away from the street), sits above the kitchen and has a decent sized balcony. It was previously occupied by a couple, for which they split the rent equally, but we imagine it is better suited to 1 person. Couples will be considered... but really has to be the right fit!

YOU:
Well, we're pretty open I guess. But considering the make up of the house so far we reckon community minded/politically left creative types could be a good fit?
Clean but not uptight. Chilled about a very lived in, moving household - but not so chill that you don't respect other folks' needs. Respectful and courteous whilst sharing a space with a larger group of people!
