Instant access to beach and the Naze nature reserve (200m). Peaceful cul-de-sac location with on street parking. Lots of kids around, so that can be a little noisy at times. Street can get busy, so parking often at end of road but always parking available. 15 minutes walk into Walton-on-the-naze with shops and eateries and 20 minutes to station with trains to Liverpool Street in 1h 35m or Frinton in 5mins. Naze Tower and RSPB centre 10 mins walk.

It's a 2 bed end of terrace with rear views over the backwaters. Large mature garden and two beautiful cats. Must love cats! (Midnight and Moonlight)

My home is a renovation project, although the first major phase of modernisation to make it warm and comfortable is nearly complete. Brand new boiler and central heating, insulation, carpets, decor, bathroom etc. No planned works in Lodger room, except for new windows (probably next Summer) and we can negotiate timings of that well in advance, as required. Minor DIY like shelves, storage, TV installation etc will likely continue particularly in the living/dining room as this is the last area of the house that I am making comfortable. Major updates expected in the next year or so are: new windows (they are old sash windows), cleaning chimneys, installation of fires, front and back garden spaces. All of which should have minimal impact on the right Lodger.

I'm an Actor/Presenter and property investor. I'm at home a lot but then away sometimes a lot. It's a variable, so I need to find the right fit to be respectful and dependable wether I'm there or not. My Sister stays in my room and feeds the cats, unless you are able and willing but there's no pressure.

I used to party hard but now I prioritise peace, calm and tranquility. Certainly at home and I'd need you to be the same. No heavy drinking, partying or anti-social behaviour. I work from home a lot, unless I'm away, so you'd need to either have a home based job that is alright with this or have a job that you go to.

I've organised the understairs cupboard as a cleaning and house/DIY supplies space - everything required to clean and tidy should be in there but you can let me know if it isn't and I will buy or reimburse your receipt if I'm away.

I provide a written lodger agreement that we both sign on a 1 month rolling arrangement, so just 1 month notice in writing, either way.
