A bit about the property and animal care:
The property is dedicated to being an eco-friendly sanctuary for wildlife, some rescued animals and rural living. The lodger arrangement ideally includes helping with animal care about two days a week. The animal care involves no heavy work; only opening some hatches to let the few hens out, top up their feed and water and same with few guinea fowl and geese; pet sheep need hay into racks in winter and bit of feed in trays; bird feeders topped up; closing up at dusk; checking electric fences on; collecting few eggs in hen house; when the owner is away feed and comb the darling cat. All takes about 40-50 minutes total/day. A wonderful opportunity for those who like country living and animals!


Organic fruit and veg grown on-site and eggs offered when available.
