We’re Douglas and Keziah and we're looking for a friendly, clean housemate to sublet our little spare room. Women preferred - including trans and cis women.

Please note, there isn’t space for a desk so the room will suit someone who doesn't work from home. We're ideally looking for someone with a day job or in full time education.

About Us:

I’m Douglas (he/him), I am a queer man and I've lived in the flat for over 14 years, so the flat very much feels like home. I am 35, a singer/songwriter/ composer and drag queen. The nature of my work means I'm either working from home a lot, writing/recording or away for extended periods on tour.

Keziah(she/her) is 26, from Dublin and is an actor and is currently working in hospitality.

We both love going to the theatre and chatting the night away over a bottle or two of wine. In the summer we often like to fill the flat with flowers from Columbia Road flower market and living in a family feeling home is important to us both.
Occasionally we have friends and family to stay and if one of our rooms is available we’re very happy to offer them up to our guests.

The bathroom suite and kitchen cupboards are admittedly outdated but everything is in good working order and we pride ourselves on keeping it very clean and tidy. We have a relaxed weekly cleaning rota just to keep the duties fairly distributed. We're looking for someone similarly clean and tidy.

The flat overlooks Weaver’s Fields Park which is really handy for outside space, walks, runs and picnics in the summer.

In the past the room has suited someone recently moved to London and/or someone who doesn't have a great deal of things.
