I am renting out a big furnished double room in my family home. I am a professional, single mother of two boys (8 and 10yrs old) who live with me half the time).

The room is large, comfortable and bright, furnished with double bed, wardrobe, desk, bedside table etc... However if any of these items aren't wanted, it's very easy for us to remove them. The room does not adjoin the other bedrooms, so it very private and generally quiet.

The house is a spacious victorian end of terrace on a residential street. There is large eat-in kitchen, and a small garden (which is lovely to relax in in the summer). There is lots of space to cook, and there is a laundry room with washer and dryer.

I have a cat, and two house rabbits (although the rabbits are confined to the living room).

Fibre optic broadband works throughout the house.

We are sociable, creative and relaxed family and have happily shared with housemates for many years, . As I have two kids, we do have playdates here etc, so anyone living with us needs to be comfortable with that, and happy with kids being kids at home! .

It's a great area, with two beautiful parks in easy walking distance, 8 minutes from Willesden Green station ( Jubilee line zone 2) and only 5 minutes from Dollis Hill (zone 3), 3 minutes from loads of buses (98, 52, 260, 206..) that go all across London, and just a couple of minutes from shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes, new library and more... Also just 10 minutes on the bus from the buzz of Kensal Rise and Queen's Park, where there are a lots of great bars and shops, as well as an amazing independent cinema.
It's super easy to get across to East London from here too via West Hampstead.
