Hey there!
We have a beautiful ensuite (double bed + shower & a toilet) for either a single person or a couple (queer couples encouraged), in a 3 bedroom flat that has a really lovely living room and a big kitchen. Located NW2 3PA.

The room is available from the 18th of August, and we are ideally looking for someone who could move in on that date, since this is when our rent is due.
Cost of the bedroom is £1240 per month, excluding bills. Bills come to about £130 per person each month. Council tax band is E. (which could change if you’re a student)

Visits will be from the 6th of July until the 25th. Various times can be arranged, depending on if you work during the day or during the night. Online visits are also accepted!

🛏️ About the room:
It’s a spacious double-bed bedroom, facing South, so there is sun all afternoon. There is a small and convenient shower and toilet that would be only yours. There is a big wardrobe and various cupboards for storage, as well as more storage in the entrance.

📍About the location:
We are 12min away from Kilburn Station (Jubilee line), 9min away from Cricklewood station (Thameslink) and 16min away from Brondesbury station (Overground - Mildmay line). (all walking distances)
We also have loads of buses 3min away from our place.
Grocery stores and amenities are all very accessible. Tesco and a big Co-op are a 10min walk away, and West Hampstead is a 20min walk away, with loads of super cute coffee shops and restaurants + a Waitrose and a M&S. There is also a Lidl, 20min walk away (or 10min on bus).
If you're a gym person, we have an Energy Fitness gym literally 3min away from our place, many other gyms around the area, and we even have a David Lloyd Clubs fitness & well-being centre only 10min walk away from us!

👥 About us:
We are a very friendly household and like to make our flat feel like a home. I’ve decorated most of the living room and entrance, and it’s really important to us that the flat feels like a safespace that we come home to after a long day at work, and not just a space where various strangers live.
You would be living with Justin and myself, Iris.

- Justin is 29 years old and has lived in London for 2 years. He's originally from Australia, where he spent most of his time drinking beers and playing guitar. He currently runs an AI research lab and spends most of his time at work, but still goes to see Australian bands when they tour, so that he can relive his youth.
In a previous life he was a nutritionist / personal trainer. It isn't obvious, but he does still go to the gym sometimes...

- My name is Iris, I’m 24 and I’m from France. I’m a singer, songwriter and musician and work freelance as a professional musician and artist. I travel quite regularly to Paris for various job opportunities, and in general, my weeks never look similar, as my missions are always different. Some weeks, I spend a lot of time in the living room, working from home and some weeks I’m out all day long until late in the night. My hobbies include dance classes, seeing my friends, obviously MUSIC hehe, playing board games, going to various events (theatre, cultural events, etc), reading and being around nature. I am very creative and very social, and love discovering new activities.

The vibe in the house is very chill, we both have our independent lifestyles, but we are very respectful of each other and tend to do a flatmate dinner about once a month, to socialise and update each other about our lives.
Friends are very welcome, as the living room is really great to hosts dinners and have guests. We’re not particularly a party household, but we definitely like to have friends over from time to time - again, making it feel like an actual home, and not a distant, sanitised space haha. We have a chill cleaning rota, where we have someone vacuum the house once a week, and otherwise we just ask that each person cleans after themselves, just so that the common areas are nice and breathable for everybody. :))

✍️ About you:
We are looking for someone / a couple who equally want to create a peaceful and cosy environment. Having someone with whom we could become friends would be really great, as we think this will make the communication around the house easier and the vibes nicer. Communication is definitely an important point to us, as we want to make sure that everyone feels comfortable in the house at all times.
All genders welcome, and you must be clean and respectful. If you are social that’s definitely a plus, but we’re absolutely not expecting everyone to be as much of a social animal as I am haha. Common interests with us would also be a plus, but we’re very open to meeting people from any background, as long as they are nice and friendly :) Ideally, someone who doesn’t work from home, as Justin and I already work from home, but that’s not a massive blacklist point.

Our current flatmates are a lesbian couple - Pearl & Inés - and we absolutely love living with them. For couples, we are looking for stable people who understand that they are sharing a house with other people - and who do not treat the house as their own individual space.
Unfortunately, at the moment, we cannot accept pets. Ideally, you would be in an age-range of 20 to 35 years old. We do not smoke, so we would prefer not to have smokers.

✨ Thank you for reading this far! If you’re interested, send us a message with a few information about you, and with your availabilities for visits. :)
