We’re looking for someone to take a really lovely, large top floor attic bedroom in a high-ceiling Hackney house. The room is on its own separate floor and comes with a private bathroom (bath with overhead shower), so it feels very self-contained and peaceful.
The room itself is very bright thanks to skylights as well as windows, and there are three large built-in storage units, so there’s plenty of space even if you have a lot of stuff. Because it’s the top floor, it’s also very quiet and private compared to most house shares.
The house has high ceilings throughout and a good sized kitchen with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, and a very new oven (only a few months old). The property is semi-furnished but there’s flexibility if you have your own furniture.
Location is honestly one of the best parts — the house is about a 2-minute walk to both Hackney Central and Hackney Downs stations, with bus stops on the road and around the corner. There’s Lime bike parking right opposite the house, and you’re just a few doors down from the Pembery Tavern and very close to Mare Street, so there are loads of shops, cafes, and pubs nearby.
You’d be living with one other housemate who is a friendly creative writer. The house is pet-friendly, and parking is available on the street
