I’m looking for a lovely female flatmate to share a clean, friendly home with my 12-year-old son and me.

I’m about to start a PGCE in Art and Design at Goldsmiths, and my son is a very mature, easy-going kid who loves skateboarding and playing guitar. He spends around 40% of his time with his dad, and we’re also away every half term, at Easter, Christmas, and for the summer in Ireland, so you’ll often have the house to yourself.

The room is much bigger than it appears in the photos. It’s furnished with a bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers, and also has its own sink. We have a lovely garden too, which is perfect for relaxing.

The room would suit someone who works full-time, is studying, or simply has a busy lifestyle. It could be an especially good fit for a Goldsmiths student thanks to the convenient location.

I’m looking for someone who is friendly, tidy, considerate, and enjoys a relaxed, respectful home. I’m always happy to chat over a cup of tea or share the occasional meal or glass of wine, while also appreciating everyone’s independence and personal space.

To help keep the house calm and comfortable, especially when my son is at home, I’m looking for someone who doesn’t need to have partners or overnight guests staying over.

Location

The house is in a fantastic Zone 2 location, just a 10–15 minute walk from Nunhead, Queens Road Peckham, and New Cross Gate stations, making it easy to get around London. There’s also free on-street parking right outside the house, which is a real bonus if you have a car.

We’re just around the corner from the much-loved Skehan’s pub and within easy reach of both Peckham and Deptford, with their great cafés, restaurants, markets, and nightlife.
