An easy-going older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person is moving into their daughter’s home – who will be their carer – but they would appreciate the additional support and friendly company of a Sharer, including picking up shopping, making a few evening meals, ad hoc other help/errands, plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight, especially if the daughter is out for a few hours.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished single bedroom and shared bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen and sitting room and pretty garden.

It is a beautifully presented property in Milford, very close to the River Derwent and 10-30 mins from the centre of Derby. It is close to local buses, within walking distance to the village pubs and shops, and there are excellent road networks nearby including the A6, A38 and M1.

The person enjoys watching the news and Ben Fogle programmes.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
