I am a 26 year old professional looking for a housemate to join myself and my amazing dog, Milo, a 3.5 year old Weimaraner (he is very rarely in the house alone and goes most places with me and is very friendly). . I am therefore looking for someone who likes dogs.
I have lived in house shares before but now looking for someone to join me in my home due to the cost of living increases.
Location is Church Gresley.

I am pretty laid back, but do like to live in a clean and tidy environment. I don’t mind the odd night out but mainly spend time out walking the dog, at work or relaxing in the house. I like to cook most nights and eat healthy. I definitely have the mentality of week days are for working hard so I would need someone that’s quiet during the week and not going out partying!
On a weekend, I like visiting friends around the country / family in the North East or camping and hiking with my dog, particularly now it’s getting warmer!
I tend to work from home 2 days per week and 3 days from the office and also spend a couple of days a week at my boyfriends house. He also stays over at the house too a couple of times a week (typically the days I am working from home).. When I’m office, Milo goes to doggy day care. At night, in the house, Milo currently sleeps downstairs in the living room or in my bedroom.
When I'm not home you would have the whole house and garden to yourself.
He loves company so if you are home and would be happy to keep an eye on him, he makes the best companion. In exchange, I would be happy to cook a couple of dinners a week for the house / do extra cleaning and house chores. No care would be expected but I would like someone that loves dogs and understands them and their needs. Of course, there is absolutely no requirement for you to do this, but would need to be friendly and accepting of him in communal areas. He’s such a snuggle bug and would become your bestie, given the chance!
If you want to get in touch to discuss further, I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Thanks :)
