I live in a three-bedroom semi-detached house on the south edge of Didcot in a pleasant and convenient location. The train station is about a 25-minute walk away. There is a bus stop on Box Tree Lane just a 4-minute walk away, where you can catch the X32 to the town centre, train station, and Milton Park. Another bus stop is a 3-minute walk on Park Road, where you can catch the 94 to Harwell. It's best to get around by car - 10 minutes to Harwell Science park and 5 minutes to the train station/town centre. I only have one parking space on my drive but there are plenty of parking spaces on the street. The street is nice and quiet.
I have a large double room available for single occupancy, since my lovely lodger (who has lived here for 21 months) is relocating to Manchester. The room is located at the back of the house and overlooks a large garden.
You would be sharing the house with just me and Storm, a friendly Maine Coon cat. Shared areas include the lounge, kitchen, and bathroom.
The house is fully equipped with everyday appliances, including a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. Superfast Youfibre broadband is also available.
All bills are included in the rent, except for your own food and personal hygiene products.
Monday to Friday stay is considered at a reduced price, just ask.
Short-let is £175 per week.
I am a teacher and myself had lived in shared houses before I got my own, so I am used to live with others. I am still in touch with most of my old housemates, now they are my good friends.
