I am looking to rent out a double bedroom in this lovely house on Burton Road. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, garden and two shared bathrooms over three floors.

The house itself couldn’t be in a better location. It’s less than a five-minute walk to the nearest tram station and you have great shops, bars, and restaurants all within walking distance too. If you drive, we have local on street parking or if you don’t drive, there are local buses and trams within reach (about 30 minutes to get to the city centre). The area is a brilliant place to live and there’s always something going on to do. The room itself comes fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and set of drawers. There is plenty of additional storage space throughout the house too if needed.

The group you’ll be living with are genuinely lovely. Everyone met through living in the house together and all but one are new to Manchester too. There is always someone to hang out with and we regularly do stuff as a group- pub quizzes, meals, shopping etc. I’m moving 2 minutes down the road so I can still see everyone! If you work from home, we have super-fast broadband and plenty of desk space for you to get your work done.

In terms of the boring stuff, we each pay a private landlord/letting agency called Rent-A-Home monthly. Your monthly cost for the room (including bills and tax) is £595 and is to be paid on the same day each month. The contract is for six months but you can change this if needed. For the location and size of the house, it’s much cheaper than similar offerings on the market and you also get the added bonus of having incredible flat mates. I will be doing viewings this week and next- ideally in the evenings as I work during the day.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who is in their twenties/early thirties with a similar lifestyle. We don’t have any preferences for gender and are LBGTQ friendly! The ideal housemate would be someone sociable who is clean/tidy and is looking for a lasting home 😊 The room is available from May 1st.
