Looking for a flatmate to join me in early summer! ☀️☺️ Suitable for someone happy to commit to the longer term (6 months minimum, ideally longer); short term not considered, sorry.
I’m Sarah and I’m a 31 year old professional, I used to work in animation but am currently taking a break from that and working in an office 😂 I like hiking, bouldering (badly), travel, live music, yoga, reading, and art. I’m friendly and don’t make much noise!
Please note the flat is not a party flat and I’m looking to live with someone who has a similar mindset - social, but respectful of the space. I’m often out and about with friends/hobbies but enjoy a chat over a meal or a cup of tea, definitely prefer cooking to boozing these days! ☺️
I’m not a clean freak but like to keep the shared space reasonably clean and tidy and hope to live with someone who will do the same 🙏
The room is a basement room but gets a decent amount of natural light considering. Maybe not ideal for those working from home all the time but it’s really private - great if you play an instrument as fairly sound isolated. ☺️ The room can fit a desk and there’s a nook under the stairs that provides extra storage space. The ensuite is pretty spacious.
The room has 2 radiators so warms up quickly and my current flatmate has found it comfortable, she’s lived here for around 2 years.
The monthly rent share is £577.50 not including bills. Bills currently come to ~£140-£150 each per month. I currently pay for wifi/council tax and my current flatmate is paying for water/electricity so ideally the new flatmate would take those over from her.
Mature/Phd students absolutely considered as long as you’re okay splitting council tax with me.☺️
2 mins from the nearest bus stop (23/111 routes), 10-15 mins from Burton Road tram stop, 5 mins from Burton Road and the nearest supermarket (Coop). About 15 mins walk to Didsbury Village for Aldi and local shops.
Also 5 mins walk from the Mersey path and in easy access to Rockover Sharston bouldering gym (approx. 25 mins away by bus).
If this sounds like it could be a good fit for you, please get in touch with a little bit about yourself and we can arrange a viewing!
