To share with fairly tidy flatmates who're relaxed about most stuff but like to live in a CLEAN flat!
We enjoy film, the arts; especially music - anything funky or with a WAIL - e. g. Fado, griots, Tuva throat-singing, Celtic etc. etc.

LOVE dancing .... round the house or on the dance floor, beach or festival etc.

Currently trying to do our bit for the planet by re-cycling, (washing machine full load & 30C where possible), using FreeCycle etc. rather than waiting for the council to come & pick stuff up ...

Am currently working from home but out & about a lot. The other flatmate works in climate change research.

There's a large, sunny eat-in kitchen/diner overlooking a garden & the park; living room with original fireplace, plus a larger than usual bathroom.

Nice neighbours in a quiet block (4 flats - one on each floor).

The flat is well-located & on the corner of Peckham Rye Park (check out the William Blake connection!)

Near nice bars & restaurants on Lordship Lane, Nunhead, Peckham ....

East Dulwich & Peckham Rye train stations - only 8 minutes to London Bridge - are both within walking distance plus bus routes, which include:

- No. 12 to Oxford Circus via Camberwell (King's Hospital), Elephant & Castle, St Thomas' Hospital, Westminster, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Regent Street, Oxford Circus....

- No. 63 to Blackfriars, Farringdon, St. Pancras, & Kings Cross

- No. 37 to Brixton, Clapham & Putney (or back to Peckham)

- No. 484 to Lewisham or King's Hospital, Camberwell

- No. 78 to Liverpool St. Station, Spitalfields Market & Shoreditch etc.

Not looking to 'fill the room' but to find somebody compatible that shares some interests & won't live in their room like a hermit.
Not looking for a 'best' friend either as we all need some time to ourselves to just 'be still'; that goes without saying :-)

SHARING includes conversation, eating, cooking, coffee, wine but not obligatory :-) bills etc. what's on - music, cinema, art exhibitions .... and some cleaning**!!

** this includes the bathroom/cooker/oven etc. after you've used it :-)

****Anybody that thinks washing up their own plate, knife & fork counts as cleaning - it sounds as if you've only recently left home .... (somebody else clears up?!) so this might not be the flat for you :)

*Always eating meals alone IN your bedroom might mean you should be looking for a studio rather than a flat-share?
Understand the need to be alone - and cook alone; no problem but it's a flat-SHARE so .....

No specific age or 'status' in life required - just some openness.

P. S. Having worked in the charitable and educational sectors, am happy to explain the difference between a refugee and an asylum seeker but if you quote from the Daily Mail too much, I may not have the patience!
