Two double bedrooms available in a 3 bed Victorian house with a garden. The house has a large kitchen dining room leading to the garden, double living room and bathroom with a bath. Both rooms overlook the garden which backs onto a private cul de sac so are very quiet. Available from 20th October or thereabouts.
I’ve lived here for 10 years, and the house is my home, I’d love to find 2 people who want to make it theirs as well, along with my little black cat Buffy. It's a maximalist house, i love to have lots of plants Cushion, interesting art, everything has a story. would love to have you also add your things into the decor and make it feel like your place too , but this isn't a home for a minimalist, it's all here to stay. There's plenty of storage available too if you have craft supplies, cookbooks, kitchen gadgets, we can make it work.
I’m a chef, working in central London, so on the days I’m at work I’m out early and home late, and also work as a stage manager for wrestling shows a few times a month. So when I’m home I like to relax. I appreciate alone time but would also love to have housemates to veg out with in front of trash tv, play games, share meals and undertake craft projects. Being a collective is important to me, as opposed to 3 strangers who happen to inhabit the same space.
Room 1 is the slightly larger of the two and has a built in wardrobe.
Both rooms are technically unfinished, but there is a bed with mattress and chest of drawers available that could go in either (they’re in room 2 in the photos).
The whole has house just been repainted, and most of the carpets were replaced just over a year ago. The garden needs a little love, but is a great sun trap in the summer, great for entertaining, and I have several barbecues that I love to cook on all year round.
Rent and all household bills (power, water, council tax, internet, tv licence) are payable to me once a month, and we can use an app to track any occasional household purchases (milk, loo roll, cleaning products etc.) so it’s all shared fairly. Bills come to around £150 a month each
