Hi, I am a Third (soon to be Fourth) year student studying Philosophy,

I'm looking for a replacement flatmate for a room in the two bed flat that I rent. It is on the second floor and only has stairs to access.

It is available from June and will be available to rent together until the end of the academic year 2027. After that you can stay living there but will new flatmate or pay the full rent.

The bedroom for rent has a single bed in it and cupboard space. There is also a desk. The flat also has a lovely large shared living room with two sofas, a bay window, a big table and lots of light, There is a kitchen with all the necessary equipment. It also has a shower and a bath.

The flat is about 10 mins walk from the main Dundee university campus, just off a lively bit of the Perth Road. It is also close to the park, Magdalen Green. The rent is £350 a month - other costs include half of the bills (gas, electricity, broadband etc) which comes in around £55 a month, but can vary a little seasonally.

The TV licence is not included but if needed I would happily split the cost of one.

There is a shared garden here with a bench and nearby there is the Tay River, Sainsbury's Local, the large Tesco’s Riverside, as well as many cafes and restaurants. The centre of town is a 20 minute walk and there are a number of useful busses within 5 minutes.

About me: I am sociable, friendly and easy going. I love music and the arts and medicine. I am happy to leave a flatmate be or to hang out together and talk. I am involved in various clubs inside and outside university mainly - Philosophy, Creative Writing and Medieval Reenactment.

As this is private accommodation rented through a Property Management Company, you will need a deposit of about £350 and a guarantor, so that the landlord can approve you. This can be checked out online. You will need to be a student and registered UK citizen
