Bright double room in a two-room flat near Dundee city centre available from the end of September for PhD students and young professionals.

The room is fully furnished and comes with:
- chest of drawers
- two big built-in wardrobes
- desk and chair
- thermal curtain and roller blind
- big desk and office chair
- memory foam mattress, pillows, bed linen and duvet.

There is one shared bathroom fitted with an electric shower and a bathtub. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with gas stove, washing machine and gas oven. There is a big and bright dining and sitting room facing southwest.
There is gas heating, controlled by a thermostat, and double glazing throughout.

The flat is located in the Stobswell neighbourhood, roughly ten minutes from the bus station and fifteen minutes from the city centre. It is ideal for students commuting to St Andrews, but there is also a very good bus connection to UoD campus and Abertay.
The area is quiet and provided with supermarkets (Lidl and Greens), medical centres and a pharmacy at less than 5 minutes.

You'll be sharing the flat with me, a PhD student in art history, and my partner, a PhD student in anthropology at St Andrews University.
We are looking for a non-smoker and quiet flatmate, as we tend to work from home a few days a week. Cleanliness and tidiness are crucial for us for a good flatshare and we are looking for a person willing to take care of this aspect.
In our free time, we like baking and cooking, gardening, dancing, knitting and weaving. We are sociable and like to spend time with our flatmates if that suits them.
The average energy bill is around 50-60£ per month and might vary depending on usage and weather conditions. Broadband is 12£ per month. Council Tax (band B), if applicable, is not included.

For the moment we are able to offer only contracts of maximum four months, which can be extended further.
