I'm looking for someone to share the house and some of their life with me.
The house is located in Langley Moor, a few minutes walk to a local Tesco, Lidl and Aldi. There is a local butcher and several takeaways and charity shops nearby.
The room has a new carpet and freshly painted walls. It is currently unfinished, but I will provide a bed and desk in consultation with the person who will be my lodger.
The kitchen is relatively small, and I hope that we can share cooking during the week and eat together at least twice a week.
A cleaner visits every fortnight to clean common areas (kitchen, toilet, bathroom). This is included in the rent.
All bill are included except council tax. As I am now a full-time music therapy student, the house is exempted from council tax. For the past 20 years, I worked as a pipe organ builder, and continue to do so part time.
I would expect a non-full-time student to pay the council tax that they attract. The house is in Council Tax Band A and currently is at about £1,278/year with the 25% single person discount.
Room is about 3.0m x 3.3m
