🛌 ROOM DETAILS

The room is at the front of the flat and comes with a brand-new solid oak kingsize bed with a new Emma mattress, comfy armchair, and a 32 inch TV with access to apps, chest of drawers and clothes rail. There is plenty of space to add a desk as well if you need one.

🏡 FLAT DETAILS

The flat is a 1930s end-of-terrace ground-floor garden flat. The bathroom has a roll-top bath, rain shower, and underfloor heating. A new combi boiler was recently installed meaning showers are powerful and endlessly hot.

Outside there is a sunny south-facing garden with lots of plants, a patio with dining area and outdoor lighting, along with a garage that can be used as additional storage space if needed.

If you drive and need parking you can buy the resident's permit for your car (I have a car but park on the front drive so I don't need the permit).

The flat is in E6, bordering Plaistow and East Ham. The closest tube station is Upton Park on the district line which is a 10-12 minute walk or 5-minute bus journey from the flat. From Upton Park station it’s 15-minutes to central London (Liverpool St) or Fenchurch St.

Canary Wharf is a 20 minute cycle or you can access the jubilee line from Canning Town (15-minute bus journey from the flat). So commutes to both Canary Wharf / the City are quick.

Local stuff:
* 🍞 There is a Tesco Express 2 mins’ walk from the flat.
* 🌳 For green space, Central Park is 5 minutes’ walk away which has a great café/bakery (Central Park Cafe) for fresh daily sourdough, they also do delicious pop up supper clubs and live music nights.
* 🍺 The Boleyn Tavern is 5 minutes’ walk away, beautifully restored victorian pub.
* 🍽️ East Ham has lots of excellent and affordable South Asian restaurants such as Udaya Kerala all within walking distance.
* 🥦 For big supermarkets, Westfield Stratford (Waitrose & M&S) is a 15-20 minute drive and there is a retail park with a Sainsbury's, Asda and LIDL 10-minutes' drive away.

I’m Bridie (she/her), a 37-year-old woman currently working in mental health in the NHS. Amy (she/they) is a 35-year-old queer woman currently training to be a psychotherapist. We are both warm and respectful of others' space. We both love to travel and do so frequently so you will likely get the place to yourself often.
