Hello! 👋🏼 I’m looking for a new housemate to move into this cosy double room in a lovely new-build apartment in East London, as our current housemate is moving out in February (sadly).
The apartment is just a 3-minute walk to Canning Town Station, making it super convenient for commuting – just two stops from Canary Wharf 🚊. There are also supermarkets, gyms, and all the essentials right on your doorstep.
🛏 THE ROOM
- Double bedroom with brand new furniture and mattress.
- Triple wardrobe.
- Direct access to balcony.
- £1,000 per month (bills not included – split equally between the three of us approx. £120-140 each p/m)
- You’ll be sharing a bathroom with the other housemate (not me as I have my own en-suite).

You’ll be sharing with myself and one other lovely housemate - just the three of us in total.
- I work in tech and work from home. I love travelling, being outdoors, staying active, and catching up with friends.
- The other housemate has a hybrid work schedule. She’s friendly, easygoing, clean and respectful.
- We enjoy some evenings watching our favourite TV shows together but also respect personal space and downtime 🥰
- It’s a clean, social, and peaceful home, so we’re looking for a like-minded housemate who’s also tidy and considerate. Ideally, someone who treats the apartment like their own and helps keep it a cosy, welcoming space.
📝 OTHER DETAILS
This is my home, so there won’t be a formal tenancy contract as I’m simply subletting the room. This means no agency fees and a bit more flexibility – whether you’re looking for a short- or long-term stay, we can discuss what works best.
- Deposit: Five weeks’ rent.
- Rent: Plus one month’s rent paid in advance.
- No couples or pets, sorry!
