I have a wonderful large double bedroom with an ensuite to let to a couple in East India, by Canary Wharf.

We're a short 5 minute walk from East India DLR, which will get you to Bank and Tower Hill in 15 minutes. There are also frequent, fast buses to Canary Wharf, and it's one stop to Canning Town to go down an escalator and grab the Jubilee Line. We're Zone 2/3 here.

It is a furnished room - 2 of the 3 chests of drawers will be going, but otherwise everything in photo comes with the room.

Bills are around £100 in the summer and up to £150 in the winter, per person.

The household is one couple (who have now bought a place and are moving across the road, that's how much they love it here) and one single person in the other bedroom - me! I also have my own bathroom, so no morning queues.

The landlord will want you both to go undergo referencing, and is looking to start that process with potential new tenants by the end of April. There will be a new tenancy via agency.

You'll be living with me, Suchandrika, a freelance tour guide, writer and performer! I'm from London myself and have rented in every part of this fine city. Happy to socialise with flatmates and also give space - I'm used to sharing flats etc.
