We have 2 rooms available in a grand Edwardian stone house directly on the beach in the seaside district of Portobello which is 20 minutes by bus from Princes Street.
There are 2 rooms available. One is en-suite and one has a separate shower room that might occasionally be used by one other room. You will share the ground floor living room and kitchen with other guests or residents.
The upper floors belong to the landlord and his family.
Everyone shares the front door access. The garden is available for use and the garden gate leads directly to the sea.
Bills are included in the price, except for council tax, however students are exempt from paying towards council tax.
We are looking for considerate, tidy, clean and helpful guests who clean the kitchen immediately after use and who clean the dining table and living room after use.
You might be a student, Queen Margaret and Edinburgh University are on our bus route. You might be hospital staff and the Royal Infirmary is also on our bus route (21).
This is a friendly home full of character in a very popular neighbourhood on the sea front. The landlords are friendly and welcoming. The property is used for short letting to tourists in the summer season which is why this is a fixed term contract. It’s a popular place and long term guests typically book for 2-3 years. Please note that there are cats that sometimes holiday here and use the living room for sleeping and eating.
The lease is fixed however there is flexibility with the start and end date. Please enquire.
