I have a single room to let in my flat. There is a part time cat (he belongs to the neighbour downstairs but he has claimed my flat as part of his kingdom), a lovely shared garden out back, and delightful neighbours. There’s a washer/dryer so no need to hang everything to dry though we have an excellent drying green out back. A cleaner comes in every fortnight to keep the place in line, and it's a pretty quiet stair.
The flat is ugly as sin as it was done up in the 60s and maybe touched up in the 80s. The bathroom, however, is new. I am slowly getting to removing all the terrible wallpaper. It’s a work in progress.
I'm super close to the 19, 21, 25, 49. 34 and 45.
The flat has fibre, and not that malarkey where they call it fibre but it's still cable or dsl, but honest to dogs, fibre. Even on the lowest tier, it's smokin' fast.
All bills are included. Utilities, streaming services, all of it is included. You even get your own Netflix profile! What a deal!
Bonus points if you fit any of the following criteria:
- Cribbage player
- Are tall and can reach high shelves
- Barring that, you don’t mind step stools/step ladders
- you have some personality in your SpareRoom ad. It’s not like this isn’t one of the most intimate relationships you will have in your life, you’re just living with another person! No biggie.
I’m quiet, generally have friends over once a month for a games day, though the BFF does come over often as she is right across the hall. I work full time, mostly in the office. I do my best to be the tidy but sometimes ADHD gets in the way. I genuinely try! I have a bit of a clutter problem.
Not a fan of bigots, or people that think being ‘with me’ is somehow a bad thing. Don’t be a dick, treat others as you would like to be treated, and if it’s not hurting you, mind your business.
I’m Canadian so I say sorry a lot.
Sorry, the room is no longer available
