About me
I work for a children’s healthcare charity, with a flexible schedule between home and the office (usually around 3 days in). I’m quite outgoing and enjoy a mix of hobbies, from bachata dancing to rock climbing, and I’m always up for trying something new. It would be lovely to occasionally share some of those activities together, but no pressure at all.
At home, I like a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I’d say I’m tidy but not overly strict about it, and I enjoy making the space feel cosy with little trinkets and personal touches. I occasionally host friends for dinner or small celebrations, but it’s not a constant party house. I want the space to feel like home, for you and myself, so guests are obviously more than welcome at any point. Communication is key <3
I’m vegetarian, which is an important part of my lifestyle. Ideally, I’d live with someone who shares or respects this. Being mindful about food in shared spaces is important to me.
About the room
The room is a spacious en-suite with its own shower, a large built-in wardrobe, and plenty of room to make it your own.
It’s currently set up with a pull-out bed that converts into a double, as it was originally used as a guest room. This was originally an unfurnished flat, so all furniture I bought and I might be moving stuff around. This can be arranged and communicated.
About the flat
The flat is a modern 2-bed, 2-bath first-floor apartment in a quiet residential area. It was built in 2016, so it’s well-insulated with a good EPC rating.
It includes:
Central heating (with underfloor heating option)
Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher, and washing machine (no dryer, but drying space works well)
Garage parking space
Two Juliet balconies
Access to a large communal garden (I like to read there when the weather is nice)
The location is very convenient:
Large supermarket 3 minutes’ walk
Gym 10 minutes’ walk
Around 20 minutes to the city centre by bus
Council tax band E.
