Quiet central residence within 10 minutes walk of George Square, 15 mins to Princes Street and the Royal Mile and 2 minutes from buses (to Kings Buildings) supermarkets and cafes. This flat overlooks the Meadows (park) at the front and a quiet garden at the back and has a big well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space. Usually booked for 1-4 months at a time, and occupied by students or professionals on short courses or just at the beginning or end of their stay.
Rooms are large and comfortable. There are 5 rooms available. Residents share one bathrom (with toilet) and and one shower (with toilet). The flat is very very large - eg the hall is 5m x 2m and the residents say that the atmosphere of the flat is calm and peaceful and the kitchen is a friendly place to meet.

The flat and building are strictly non smoking. There is no smoking anywhere in the building or on the path to the front door. The smoking area is on the pavement outside the building - or in the park opposite the flat. ea
This flat is 10 minute walk to Edinburgh University’s George Square and Library and the humanities departments of psychology, Informatics and regularly hosts researchers and visiting staff or students with residencies or conferences. The ratio of working professionals to university community is usually 2/3-1/3.
