The bus stop is just 1-2mins walk, with excellent transport connections to Edinburgh City Centre, Princes Street and the New Town are ten minutes away on a bus service that leaves every 3 - 5 minutes (22, 16, 10, 1, 34). Trams are 10mins walk.
Shopping complex of Ocean Terminal is just a walk away. And only about 30min walk to city centre from flat.
Frequent buses take you to the airport. The Links, a large park, is close by as is the Kirkgate (chemists, banks, supermarkets etc.) and the main high street. Ancient pubs and some of the best restaurants in Edinburgh, including four with Michelin stars. There are also lots of cheap places to eat and drink along the Water of Leith, set as it is on The Shore in the heart of the old merchant city.
