Room features a Juliet balcony with French doors, and comes equipped with double bed/mattress, built-in wardrobe with shoe rack, desk and chair, chest of drawers, bedside and desk lamps, and tasteful art on walls.
Ensuite features sink, toilet and shower, with shelves and bathroom cabinet, bathmats and toilet roll holder.
Access to kitchen/diner. Living area is owners' workspace.
There is a 2- year old calm/quiet/friendly indoor tom cat who roams around the flat. Looking for a lodger willing to feed him morning and late night when I'm away on short trips.
Exercise bikes available in the basement of the development. Superb neighbourhood with nice cafes, bars and restaurants on the door step. Nearest supermarket: Aldi (opposite), Sainsburys Local – 5 minute walk. Water of Leith river and cycle paths on the doorstep (literally). On street parking is very hard around here and is based on the luck of finding a space. Council residents permit required.
Room available for a non-smoking female or male graduate student, post-doc, research staff, visiting academic, research or consultancy or medical professional or similar, seeking a calm and relaxed but friendly home environment. Flat is 30 minutes direct bus ride from the University of Edinburgh and definitely in my favourite area of the city! You will be sharing with the owner (me), I am a clean-living female (mid-40s) public health researcher and part-time folk/jazz musician with a dry sense of humour. Seeking similar. Not suitable for couple, pets or children. Not a party flat. I'm looking for someone I have something in common with and closer to my age so I won't respond otherwise.
There is no TV in the flat. If you want to put one in your room, you'll need to pay for a full TV license.
