Dearest New Housemate,
One of my housemates is moving out, and I have a room to rent for one person in my place in Stockbridge, sharing with one other housemate, Isaac and my girlfriend, Kat, just by the river. There is fast broadband, double glazing, heating, plenty of hot water, two bathrooms, a dishwasher, a laundry with a washer-dryer and tumble dryer, and plenty of kitchen appliances.
I'm 41, I work full-time in engineering, Isaac works in hospitality, and Kat is a videographer. Kat and I often work from home. We all like a calm and clean home. We don't have a TV deliberately, but we like watching stuff on the internet. We like having people over sometimes for a dinner or a drink, but also socialise outside of the house. Maybe once a year, we host a bigger house party. Isaac smokes but only out of the kitchen window. There isn’t much meat cooked in the house (Kat is mostly vegetarian), and we prefer it to stay this way, or for the new person to be respectful of a veggie diet.
Would suit a mature, chilled, clean, and communicative person.
Rent includes everything (bills, council tax, household stuff like toilet roll, soap, cleaning products etc.)
Your room is on the first floor with access via one flight of stairs. There is a desk and a wardrobe if you want them, happy to sort out furniture to suit your needs. Private parking available.
