Hi, I am looking for a new flatmate for the next academic year. The room is available from July, so a preferable move in date would be July or August. The landlord is flexible on dates, so a beginning of September move in is considered, but priority is given to those who want to move in during July or August.
The room is fully furnished and is south facing, and the flat has a shared living room, bathroom and kitchen, and is in a convenient location to reach Napier university and the university of Edinburgh. I believe there are buses running to Heriot Watt on this street and the Airlink 300 is a few minutes walk from the flat. The flat is also not far from the city centre, especially on a bike (it is a 15 min walk to haymarket). There are also supermarkets at the top and bottom of the road, which is really useful, and parks nearby.
A big perk of this flat is how lovely the landlord is. He deals with the payment of all utility bills (the money is included in the rent), and is very responsive and is always looking to improve the flat. He is able to provide beddings if required. He sometimes comes and stays in the spare room here from time to time.
I am very clean, quiet, introverted and not too sociable. I prefer to keep to myself, but am friendly. I am looking for someone who is similar to me in these ways, and who is also looking for a quiet, private space to focus on studying and work. I am going into my final year of university so this is quite important. Cleanliness is also extremely important to me. It would be great if the person moving in was understanding of this.
