Hi! I have a bright double room available in our lovely flat in Edinburgh’s Southside, in one of the best locations for anyone wanting to be close to the university and city centre.
The location is honestly hard to beat — you can literally walk from the garden to George Square in just a couple of minutes. The University of Edinburgh buildings, Main Library, cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, gyms, and everything you need are all right nearby. It’s a really convenient place to live, especially if you enjoy being close to everything while still having a comfortable home to come back to.

A little about the flat: it’s shared with myself and my husband. We’re both easy-going, friendly, and pretty relaxed people. I work remotely as a teacher for an academy, and my husband works in IT. We both work from home during the week, so the living room is usually my workspace and won’t be available most weekdays, but we’re respectful of shared spaces and keep the home calm, clean, and comfortable.
Outside of work, we enjoy travelling, exploring Edinburgh, trying new places to eat, and making the most of the city. We’re private people but also friendly and sociable — we enjoy our own space but are always happy to have a chat.
We’re looking for someone who is respectful, tidy, friendly, and easy to live with. A female tenant is preferred, but the most important thing for us is finding someone who is considerate, independent, and fits well with the relaxed atmosphere of the flat. Someone who enjoys their own space but is also happy to have a chat now and then would be a great fit.
