I'm Cecilia, an Italian professional and homeowner with two room options available in my house in SE9:

OPTION 1 – LONG-TERM DOUBLE ROOM: £750 pcm, bills included
A bright, furnished double bedroom available for someone looking for a longer-term home.

OPTION 2 – SHORT-TERM MASTER BEDROOM, until 31/12: £775 pcm, bills included
My own larger, furnished king-size bedroom, available until 31 December only. Flexible stay lengths, with no minimum rental period. If you're interested in this option, message me privately and I'll send you photographs and further details.

The house is calm, clean and relaxed – much more of a home than a party house. I enjoy cooking, music, art, films and the occasional meal or drink with friends, and I'm looking for someone who appreciates a friendly, peaceful home.

I'm currently spending some time in Italy and will be back in the UK in January. A friend, Andrea, is looking after the house and will be arranging viewings while I'm away. I'm the homeowner and landlord, and I'll remain your main point of contact throughout your stay.

Working arrangements

I work from home three days a week and commute to the office for the other two. I'd ideally love to find someone with a similar routine, or someone who works outside the house most days, although I'm open-minded about different working arrangements.

Dogs – please read

I have two lovely Staffy-cross dogs who are a huge part of my life and my home. They're currently travelling with me in Italy, so you won't meet them during viewings or while I'm away.

However, being genuinely comfortable living with dogs is essential. When I return in January, the dogs will be part of everyday life in the house. I'm looking for someone who likes dogs, is relaxed around them and is happy sharing their home with them.

They're my dogs, and their care is entirely my responsibility. I'm not looking for a lodger to walk, feed or look after them. I simply want someone who will be happy having them around when we're all back home together.

Who I'm looking for

- A working professional or student
- Tidy, respectful and considerate
- Someone who appreciates a peaceful, friendly home
- Genuinely comfortable around dogs

Students are welcome. No couples or additional pets. Smoking is fine outside, but not inside the house.
