We have enjoyed sharing our home with lodgers - students and professionals.
If you are looking for a safe, clean and quiet home, close to nature, please get in touch. Before we invite anyone into our home, we ask for details as below and we are happy to provide you with a lot of relevant information about us and our home. Please let us know your exact move in date, whether you have two references, right to rent in the UK, whether you are a student or a professional, whether you are working from home, your preferences, sole use of bathroom or you are happy to share and any other relevant information and any questions for us. We offer one room at a time, to one person only. This is our home so you would be living with us in the same house as a lodger and not as a tenant. The rooms are clean and our home is quiet, safe, spacious, fully refurbished and peaceful.
We currently have the single room available but the information below will describe both rooms.
The double room has a large desk and a chair, a window, a good quality mattress and bed frame, a large wardrobe, shelves and a bedside table. There is another bed underneath the single bed shown in the photographs should you wish to sleep on a larger bed as you can put the two single beds next to one another and make them into one large bed. The other bed can also be used for the occasional overnight guests who would pay the pre agreed daily charge. Please see the photographs for more information. The bathroom has a bath tub with a shower option. Please let us know if you would prefer the double or the single room and if you would like a sole use of the bathroom. The bathroom can be for your own use only or shared with one other person. Please state your preference. The dining room is shared and we offer have meals together should a lodger wishes to. The beautiful Oak Hill Park is a few minutes walk from the house. Our interests include languages, cultures, cuisines, cooking, nutrition, baking, wellbeing, psychology, travelling, sightseeing, IT, machine learning, DIY, health, fitness, walks in nature, to name a few.

Bills, council tax and wifi are included. There is no TV in the bedrooms nor in the shared dining room. Former lodgers' references/recommendations are available on request.

The Cockfosters tube station is 10-15 minutes walk, the Oakwood tube station is less than 10 minutes by bus (both on Piccadilly line), the Oakleigh Park Overground Train Station is 10-15 minutes walk.
