Moving in — what you'll pay
• Holding deposit: one week's rent to take it off the market while I process your application. Once you're approved, referenced and the agreement's signed, it goes towards your deposit or first rent. You get it back in full if we decide not to go ahead, or if we can't reach an agreement within 15 days (unless we agree a different deadline in writing).
• Deposit: one month's rent, protected with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS), with the prescribed information sent to you within the legal timeframe.
• First month's rent in advance, due once you've passed referencing and signed the agreement.
No admin fees, no renewal fees, no hidden charges. The only payments we can ask for are the ones above, all in line with the Tenant Fees Act 2019. (The legal deposit cap is five weeks' rent; ours is lower, at one month.)
